Dear students:
Midterm grades are posted. Curiously, there are three of you who took tests that are not appearing on my role. If you are one of them (you'll know by logging into Banner), I'll be taking care of this in the office early tomorrow.
As for Test #1... the results were NOT great! We will talk in class this coming week about how you can all move forward in Music Appreciation to obtain better test results in the coming weeks. There is MUCH room for improvement, this being only test #1. You have plenty opportunity for digging yourselves out of the dark hole and succeeding well in this class, however, you MUST be prepared to work.
The Midterm grade that is posted in Banner reflects ONLY test #1 results..... No need to fret about it as it is an unfair "snapshot" of just one test.
No homework today. We will carry on with the Romantic era next week. Expect more at-home work in the coming weeks.

thank you for the heads up, but if I may ask, midterms do not affect our final grade correct?
